Once, when David was in Prague, he thought he saw a leprechaun. He shrugged it off and went about his business, but the leprechaun had seen him too, and it ran home to tell all of its friends about seeing David. It described to them in elaborate detail how it had peeked from behind a tree and seen David walk by. Of course, none of the leprechaun’s friends believed the story, and refused to speak to him ever again, because he was a liar. The little Irishman died six years later alone and friendless beneath a tall red mushroom. Oh, and also, David was a unicorn.

I've been waiting for you to update.

Good surpise ending.  The fact that David is such a common name is perfect for getting the reader the picture of someone s/he might know in mind.  Good work.  Drop the author notes though.  You don't need them.

Granted, you probably don't know this, but this particular story reminds me of a passage in Eduardo Galeano's Book of Embraces.  There was something about a donkey.

Ran across your Xanga yesterday.  Inspiring, really, and quite intriguing.  Love the flash fiction; awe-inspired by your talent. =)

isn't it great seeing how many different things people picked out of that short blurb of a story? I love it. I find your stories absolutely amusing. but what are the 'author notes' that gquin was talking about?

I was attempting to write my short play for my creative wrting class (due tomarrow). . . but had been over powered by the screaming voices in my head shouting 'xanga! xanga!'

so after awhile i stummbled across your site. Now i have been horribly distracted by ALL the your stories.

Going back to MY story i am at a loss of thoughts/words/ideas or anything of the sort.... thus, making me excessivly jealous of you. -sigh-

and now i will throw myself into a fit of narsisistic rage.

 woop.
